Singapore has a world-class healthcare system. However, we are currently facing a rapidly aging population and rising healthcare costs. In addition to these challenges, our hospitals are now experiencing a bed crunch situation. Amidst these pressing challenges, Homemed was established in 2024.
We believe that the primary and home care services in Singapore can help alleviate both the bed crunch and rising healthcare costs, along with enhancing our healthcare system. With our quality healthcare services and reasonable prices, Homemed aims to reduce preventable hospital admissions. As a dedicated homecare provider, we offer a wide range of services which you can receive in the comfort of your home. By minimising the use of emergency services (particularly accident and emergency [A&E] services) and hospitalisations, we can help to lower healthcare costs for our nation. Our services also support ageing-in-place for the community.

Homemed is a Singapore startup company that focuses on home care services with a difference, to people who are home-bound, or are convalescing at home. Our logo encapsulates the philosophy and principles that guide our company.
The colour palette used in this modern logo was carefully selected to accentuate some of the key underpinning thoughts of the company. There are three main colours used for this logo: green, blue and cyan. Each of them has different meanings:
The green colour symbolizes nature, sustainability, and growth. We support the worldwide movement on the sustainability of our environment and preservation of nature. We also want sustainable growth for our company.
The blue colour represents calmness and tranquility. We believe that when our patients are well cared for, we can see peace and tranquility in them.
The cyan colour symbolises liveliness, energy, and youth which will guide our thoughts and actions as we deliver our homecare services.
We have a combination logo: pictorial with symbols and our name as a wordmark. This logo represents the brand personality of our company:
a. Arrow - the green arrow at the top of our logo symbolizes the paramount importance of sustainable growth with innovation. It can also be seen as having the shape of the roof of a house, which shows our focus on home care, which is very important for an aging population.
b. Heart – in our logo, you will notice two individuals facing each other. Together they form a heart shape. The heart shape reflects our aspiration to serve all our clients with love and care or with “tender loving care”. The individuals facing each other reflect the close working relationship between the provider (Homemed) and our patients/clients. This is also symbolic of our patient-centered care.
c. ECG Wave - within the heart shape you will also find a segment of the electrocardiogram (ECG) wave. This is symbolic of a “lifeline” which represents our passion for supporting and helping those who need medical assistance. You may also notice that the ECG wave is in “sinus rhythm” or exhibiting the normal state. Likewise, as we care for our patients, we will use every possible effort to keep them “normal”, and comfortable.
d. Cross- the cross symbolizes “medical care”. Our home care services will include a variety of services, including medical, nursing, rehabilitation therapy, and others. We will also aim to provide integrated care and services. The cross also reminds us about the need for divine providence in everything we do.
